BOWLING.

TARANAKI VISITORS. Big Touring Party. TO-DAY’S THAMES GAMES. VISIT TO COROMANDEL. A party of 54 Taranaki howlers and their wives and friends, at present on tour in the Auckland Province, arrived in Thames on Saturday evening and played at the local greens to-day. The party left New Plymouth on Sunday, March 8, and has been visiting the Auckland Centre’s Clubs. This afternoon they play Paeroa-Hikutaia-Waihi at Paeroa and later in the week will meet Hamilton before returning homo on Sunday. Yesterday the party visited Coromandel and were welcomed by the local c}ub ofiicials and entertained to luncheon.

This morning, Mr. W. Bongard, vice-president of the Thames Club, and Mr. Maingay, on behalf of the South Auckland Bowling Centre, welcomed the visitors at the local greens.

At the conclusion of the games Mr. J. Lobb, vice-president of the Taranaki Bowling Centre, thanked the members o£ the Thames club foi their great hospitality and concluded his remarks by calling on the visitors for clieprs for fife Tlpmies club, and also for the ladies. The cheers were heartily given.
