PAYMENT TO MR. DAVY. i.. TERMS OF AGREEMENT. A writ was issued pn October last on behalf of William Goodfellow, company director, against Albert Ernest Davy, political organiser. The plaintiff is seeking a declaration that an agreement between himself and the defendant, entered into in September, 1934, in regard to the formation of a new political party is no longer binding, and is claiming £1145/16/8. Plaintiff admits that he undertook to see that Davy was paid £1250 a year for three years, but claims that he was to have a voice in the appointment of the central executive, but that a central executive Avas appointed in Avhieh he had no A'oice and Avith Avhieh he could not agree. The sum claimed is 11 months’ salary paid to the defendant from the date of the agreement.
