TESTING ROOM WRECKED.
EMPLOYEE INJURED. DAMAGE TO PLANT. (By Telegraph.—-Press Association.) (Received 1.15 p.m.). BLENHEIM, Jan. 8. A minor explosion at the BH'hheim gasworks, just before li o'clock this morning, wrecked tin. tpstiug room, and the subsequent firo destroyed a number ftt instruments and outer plant at Glencoe. Mr, T. Patchptt, who was employed in the testing at the time, received painful and extensive burns to his face, head and arms. The works manager, Uv. James. Watt, who was entering the room at the time, was blpwn back into the yards. The' fire brigade quickly suppressed the outbreak. The damage was not
