Heart Failure.

PLAINS RELIEF WORKER. INQUEST CONCLUDED. At the conclusion of the inquest concerning the death of Harry de la Croix, the relief worker who expired suddenly at a Kaihere dance on Tuesday evening, the coroner, Mr. W. Bongard, returned a verdict of death due to heart disease and heart failure. It was ascertained yesterday afternoon from the Records Office, Wellington, that deceased was not a returned soldier, but had been in camp for two months before being discharged on account of physical unfitness.

The funeral took place at Thames this afternoon.
