WAITAKARURU PARENT FINED. There Avas a brief sitting of the Thames Police Court this morning, Messrs. W. Bongard and N. Jonassen, J.P.’s, being on the Bench. Thomas Castles, of Waitakaruru, Avas charged with failing to send his children, Lily and William, to school for tAvelve Aveeks and eight Aveelcs respectively. Castles Avas fined 24/- and 16/-, the minimum fines, respectively on each charge, and £1 Avitness’s expenses.
