ASHBURTON MAN'S FATE. (By Telegraph—Press Association). - ASHBURTON, Nov. 14. The mutilated body of James Joseph Dwyer, aged 44, a single labourer, residing in Wills Street, Ashburton, was found beside the railway line a mile below Hinds at 5.30 this morning. Dwyer had been struck by a south-bound train probably about 2, a.m., and his body dragged along the track. It is not known how Dwyer came to be on the line at that hour.
