Unregistered Revolver.
TARARU MINER FINED
Domestic trouble led to the appearance in the Thames Police Court this morning, before Messrs. S. Elisor and J. W. Danby, J.P.'s/of Albert Fisher, miner, of Tararu, on a charge of assaulting his wife, Mary Beatrice Fisher. Fisher pleaded not guilty, but pleaded guilty to a further charge of having an unregistered revolver in his possession.
After hearing considerable evidence the Bench convicted and fined Fisher £1 on the second charge, ordering the revolver to be confiscated. On the assault charge accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months.
