The New South Wales Sheffield Shield cricket team yesterday played a Newcastle district team. fj|k latter in their first innings made ls!f \ runs, and in their second 151 for * six wickets. New South Wales in their firstinnings made 453 for six wickets, declared (McCabe 98, Bradman 183, Brown 61, Kippax, not out, 59). New. South Wales won on the first innings by 308 runs. Bradman was brilliant in batting, bowling and fielding.' .
