MAN PLEADS GUILTY.
COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE

Leaving his lawful wife on March 31, Charles Bertie Fittes, a waterside worker, on the same day married another woman, with whom he became acquainted through a newspaper advertisement, and went on .his honeymoon. to Palmerston North, using £57 obtained by forging and uttering a cheque in his son’s name. He pleaded guilfy to-day to bigamy and also forging and uttering,, and was committed for sentence.
