At the Epsom Summer Meeting today, the leading event resulted as follows: THE DERBY STAKES, Of £IOO each, with £3OOO added; for entire colts and fillies three years old; colts 9.0, fillies 8.9; about 15 miles: APRIL THE FIFTH, Mr Tom Walls’ br c, by Craig an Erin — Sold Again 1 DASTUR, the Aga Khan’s b c, by .Solario—Friar’s Daughter 2 MIRACLE, Earl of Rosebery’s b c, by Manna —Brodick Bay 3 [The favourite, Mr Washington Singer’s Orwell, was unplaced. The winner is the property of the well-’ known actor, Tom Walls, who has appeared in many picture comedies, such as “Rookery Nook,” “Plunder,” etc., in Thames.
