ELLERSLIE THIS MORNING

GOOD DISPLAYS GIVEN

(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent) AUCKLAND, Jue 1. There was fine weather and a large crowd of spectators at Ellerslie today, when most of the final gallops were accomplished, as not many horses are likely to be given training work to-morrow, on the eve of the Great Northern meeting. Several jumping candidates were schooled, the best displays being given by Advance Camp, High Pitch, Standfast and Make Up. Those who worked most impressively on the flat were Sunny Sky, The Tiger, Manawhenua and Royal Bengal, although Chromadyne, also went well.
