TURUA. CHURCH OF ENGLAND LADIES' GUILD. (From Our Correspondent.) The Church of England Ladies' Guild held its annual meeting at the Vicarage last Tuesday. A fair number of members was present, and the Vicar (Rev. E. G. Ault) presided. The report and balance-sheet was read and adopted, the latter showing a credit balance of £B/12/-. At the meeting, it was decided to purchase a new carpet of suitable colour to replace the present coconut matting. For her generous donation recenNy of 30 kneeling mats for use in the church, Mrs Sarah Errington was accorded a vote of thanks and appreciation. It was decided to'hold' a children's ball as usual this year, ani also other functions later.
