HOW YOUTH OBTAINED WORK. ißy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.; AUCKLAND, July 18 The Dominion unemployed regis-; trations for the week ended July 13 constituted a new record, the total being 47,203, as compared with 46,359 for the previous week. An appeal was made by Mr W. Wallace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, for employment to he found for a 19-year-old youth who, because of his age, was debarred from participating in the Unemployment Board's scheme. ~ This drew a response from many scattered places of the province,: and the youth has secured work on' a farm at Ngaruawahia.
