CHARGE AGAINST RAMEKA,

TECHNICAL EVIDENCE.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 17

The hearing of the charge of murder against George Raineka, who is also charged with attempting to murder the dead woman's daughter, was continued this afternoon.

The early evidence to-day was of a technical nature.

Giving evidence yesterday, Dr D. N. W. Murray said there were 13 wounds on the body of Mrs Gwendoline Alice Johnson. Witness said he should say that they had been caused by a man in a frenzy. The body was slashed all over.
