DISTRESS RELIEF DRIVE.

SATURDAY'S COLLECTION. HOUSE-TO-HOUSE. EARLY DISTRIBUTION. Arrangements are well in hand for the drive for clothing, etc., on Saturday, for the relief of distress in Thames. The town has been divided into 10 blocks, and one fire brigadesman will, with four Boy Scouts, be responsible for the house-to-house visitation of each block. The local branch of tbe A.A.A. has made itself responsible for a car for each block. Goods will be taken to the Central Hall, where they will be sorted and made ready for distribution. It is expected that as early as possible next week distribution to those in need will commence. The public is asked to have all parcels ready on Saturday morning for the collectors when they come.
