TOO MANY TOURS.
| SOUTH AFRICAN RUGBY. I WILL NOT VISIT N.Z. . REACTION FEARED.'. IBy Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 16 The South African Rugby Board has advised the New Zealand Rugby Union that for the present it can not accept the inv-Jtation to visit New Zealand in 1934. The question of acceptance would be deferred for a later date. The Board stated that a team was visiting England at the end of the present season, the Argentine in 1932, and was receiving a visit from Australia in 1933. In the present economic conditions of the country it was feared that by placing too heavy a tax on the time of the players a public reaction against the game would be caused. Already there was a growing feeling against the frequency of tours.
