——■»— —— SATURDAY'S JUNIOR GAME. PAEROA OLD BOYS 22, TURUA 7. (From Our Own Correspondent.) In a bright, clean, open game, in which many fine passing bouts were evidenced, Paeroa Old Boys defeated Turua by 22 to 7 on Saturday last, the versatile Paeroa backs proving too strong for the local boys. Turua forwards, however, were more than a match for Old Boys (who were considerably lighter)_, in both loose and tight play. Slight concussion and a broken nose were suffered by a Turua junior footballer, Ray Connors, on Saturday. He was taken to tho Paeroa Hospital for treatment. -■' Third Grade. The third-grade match between Turua and Ngatea resulted in a win for the latter by 17 points to 3. Inter-School. The Kerepeehi schoolboys played and -defeated Turua last Saturday by 6 to nil. Prior to the commencement, Mr Vause and Mr Boswell (headmasters of Turua and Kerepeehi schools, respectively), showed commendable interest in the boys by instructing them in the correct method of scrum formation.
