MOANATAIARI MINE. The manager reports as follows: The battery was run for 33 hours with live heads of stamps and yielded 40 oz of amalgam. No picked stone was crushed. During the week the stope between the junction on the hangingwall reef and the end of the ground south has been put in working order, and next week we will be in a position to secure a regular supply of ore from this portion of the mine. About 51b of picked stone were selected from the ore broken when squaring up the stope. We are also getting a block of ore from the shaft to the junction of the hangingwall and footwall reefs in stoping order. Necessary repairs had to be done in the east crosscut and rise to Kidds level,
