TAURANGA EXCURSION.

SATURDAY'S VISIT. It is to be hoped that the weather holds good for Saturday, that the children ma.y have the sort of excursion they best like. The number of school teams going is a sign of the keen interest taken in sports in Thames, and the memory of the visitors from Tuuranga on King's Birthday, and their enthusiastic support for their school excursion here should be a spur to Thamesites. After the game there is still the pretty town to be seen, and there are places most interesting close at hand. So, with fares so very reasonable and only a three-hour journey, let the pleasures in store outweigh the cost, and may our schools' excursion be well patronised.
