A verdict was returned that death was caused by cold and exhausnon. The coroner said two men with tbe deceased had done everything possible in the circumstances, and while, he said, it was a laudable characteristic of British youth to take risks, he thought all precautions should be taken when climbing such a mountain as Egmont. He thought a combined effort should be made by committees of the Egmont Park Board and Alpine Clubs to make climbing s§fe.
