MANY PRETTY FROCKS

The Queen's Theatre presented a blaze of colour List evening, on th» occasion of the annual dance given. by the Thames Golf Club, about llai couples gyrating to the music of the "K" Boys' Orchestra. A number of old-time dances, including the Lancers, was danced, and the whole evening proved most enjoyable. Supper in generous quantities -was provided, and the attendance included people from Paeroa, the Plains, and other neighbouring districts. Ciltainly a. successful function.
