DULLER GORGE.
RE-OPENED IN NOVEMBER. BUT STILL DANGEROUS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 21. In reply to a question, the Hon. W. B. Taverner informed a reporter that the main highway through the Buller Gorge, which was completely blocked by the big earthquake, would be again open for through traffic early in November. Some of the slips will be a danger for some time, however, particularly during peridos ’of heavy rain, even though everything is being done to ensure the public safety.
