NEW BRANCHES FORMED. TURUA AND KOPUARAHL (Prom Our Correspondent). TURUA, Aug. 20. A combined meeting of the women, of Turua and Kopuarahi was held recently to meet Mrs Wettenhall, the voluntary organiser for the Provincial Federation. Mrs Wettenhall gave an interesting address on “The Aims and Objects of the Institutes/* After a number of questions had been answered by the organiser and many details given, it was unanimously decided to form institutes at Kopuarahi and Turua. The following officers were elected:—Kopuarahi: President, Mrs G. Lewisham; secretary, Mrs L. Baigent; treasurer, Mrs L. Mouldey. Turua: President, Mrs Trevlyn Miller; secretary, Mrs A. Walker; treasurer, Mrs H. Owens.
