ST. JAMES' CHURCH.

ANNIVERSARY CONCERT. St. James' Hall was full when, on Monday evening last, the anniveisary concert of the church was hold. A splendid programme was given by talented performers, all deceiving encores. Pleasing solos were given by Mrs Willis, Misses Donnelly and Claxton, Master Albert Pedrotti, and Messrs E. Watson, Johnson, Gallpw,ay and Beech; violin solos were rendered by Mr Herbert Dixon, mouth organ selections by Mr West; recitations by Miss Marjorie Ritchie; a glee quartette consisted of Messrs Griffen, Galloway, Cordes and Watson; two sketches entitled "Waxworks" and "Afternoon Tea" were presented by the . Tararu girls; and a brief address during the proceedings was given by Rev. Davison, on behalf of the Ministers' Association.
