OBITUARY.
MP. ARTHUR WARBURTON. (By Telegrapn.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Julle The death is reported. of Mr. Arthur Warbuiton, aged 82. In 1863 ho joined the staff of the Bank of New South Wales and rose to be a. manager at Feilding and Te Aro. He resigned about 1883 and established the sharebroking and financial ; ganoy firm of Arthur Yvarburton and Co. He had considerable business interests in Wellington, /and for 22 years was a member of the Board of Governors of Wellington College and the Girls' High School. MR. R. P. BURNS. OLD OHINEMURT FOOTBALLER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 28. The death has occurred of Mr. Rcna.d Peter Bums, cf Birkenhead, aged 46 years. He was well known 25 years ago as a. representative footballer on the . -Ohinemuri goldfields, when he was in the employ of tlie AVaihi Gold Mining Company. He was also a good athlete. He is survived bv his wife.
