A WRONG ENTRY.
IN WAGES S BOOK. MAN' FINED £lO. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 28. Frank Wells was yesterday fined £lO for making a wrong entry in a wages book. It was stated that he paid a worker 35/- weekly, ' whereas the award rate as £2/1/-, and the entry in the wages book was for £2/1/-. The magistrate said he could not treat such a matter lightly. For another breach of the award the defendant was fined £l. Eepresenting himself as a dealer,' Keith Elford Craig, aged 29, defrauded an Island Bay Chinaman of sacks valued at £2. He was fined £5, in default one month's imprisonment. .
