THEIR CREDIT STOPPED.
AUCKLAND RELIEF' WORKERS.

- Some 290 men employed on relief works have been informed that their Credit at the stores has been stopped by the Public Works Department. A deputation in Auckland yesterday waited oh the' Trades Union Council, and Hospital Board chairman : to protest. The spokesman said it was an indirect way of dismissing the men.

AH the men on the Papakura'district relief worjj whose credit wafe stopped with the storekeepers this week are back at work,, according to the District Public. Works engineer. " The men feared that the stopping .of their credit was an indirect dismissal.
