POSITION ON EAST COAST.

(From Our Correspondent). „ TAIRUA, June 27.

There has also been flooding between Whangamata and Hikuai, and the clay roads are impassable for motor traffic. At the , v present time the only means of access to Whangamata is via the Wires Track .from Maratoto, and that is not in the best of condition.
