A Stratford motorist had a somewhat startling experience near New Plymouth on Sunday, says the Stratford Post. He was going along at a quiet pace, when a car passed him, and one of the occupants of this car 1 deliberately aimed a whole apple at the radiator ornament of the Stratford man’s car. The aim was good and the apple burst into a hundred fragments. Happilv there was no accident, but the Stratford man say a that with a nervous driver a very dangerous swerve might easily have been caused.
