TWO CAUCUSES.
REFORM AND UNITED.
MEETING IN WELLINGTON.

A caucus of the Reform Party was held yesterday. It discussed the coming session and. consideration was given to the attitude the party should adopt, but at the luncheon adjournment no indication was given of the nature of any decisions reached.
I A motion was passed expressing sympathy with Sir Joseph Ward in his illness, which will be forwarded to Sir Joseph expressing the party's best wishes.
Motions of sympathy were also carried with reference to Sir Maui Pomare and Sir George Hunter, who were prevented by illness from attending the caucus. All members of the party were either present or accounted for. The United Party also met in caucus yesterday morning, but* there was nothing to report. The meeting was continued in the afternoon. The Labour Party meets this week, probably on Friday.
