"'■ f Peter Eady, until recently the pro- : : . prietor of the New Zealand Sportsman, lately employed as a canvasser, is .re- -,-'• ported to be missing.' He took a passage to Lyttelton on Wednesday, in the Wahine, and was spoken to by, the steward after leaving. On. reach- , ing Lyttelton it was found his berth --'* had not been occupied and Eady's coat and bag were there. He has not been heard of since.
