AN INTERESTING POINT.
CONCERNING HOTELKEEPERS. MUST SELL FOR CASH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 4. Cox Gordon, licensee of the Thistle Inn Hotel, was fined £1 and costs today for accepting a quantity of cigarettes in settlement of an account. It is a penal offence for a hotelkeeper to receive payment for liquor other than cash, cheque or money order.
