CHINESE BANDITS.

RESUME THEIR OUTRAGES. (A. & N.Z. Cable.) PEKING, Oct. 24. The Peking Daily News reports that 500 bandits sacked Kuantung station, southward of Chengchow. The express train from Hankow arrived at Kuantung during the raid but retreated, the bandits firing on it. Some bullets struck the cars, but did no damage. Troops were sent to Kuantung soon after the raid, and fighting ensued, the bandits being driven off. According to official reports, the stationmaster and his family at Kuantung are missing. The afternoon train from Hinkow also failed to arrive at Peking.
