RHINELAND REPUBLIC.
THAN a dream. ACTIVE PROPOGANDA . .LONDON, September 8. The Times Special correspondent at Bonn says that propaganda for the Rhine Republic is proceeding on intensified lines., Railway stations are placarded and aeroplanes are dropping manifestos. The Separatists are holding demonstrations on Sunday at Dusseldorff, Bonn and Trier. Thirty five trains have been engaged to convey the Separatists and many German officials appealed to the Trench authorities, announcing themselves as and seeking posts vacated by the deportees. Many minor officials in the villages are .openly co-operating -with the French. Among the middle classes in the cities the remark is constantly heard “we are going to be made French.” Anyhow they are convinced that a separate Rhineland is inevitable. Dr. Dorten prophesies the proclamation of the Rhineland Republic in a few weeks. introduce a sparat taoin etaoi hrdl Further steps-have been taken to introduce a separate currency which is regarded as the most effective means of detaching the Rhineland from Germany.
