FATALITY AT PAEROA. (From Our Correspondent.) PAEROA, Feb. 20. . A man named Alfred Allen, better known as “Britisher" Allen, dropped dead while working in the Power Board’s blacksmith shop this morning. Only' 10 minutes before he expired he was joking with your representative.

At the inquest held on Saturday afternoon before Mr. W. M. Wallnutt, Coroner, the evidence of Dr. Little was that the cause of death was fatty degeneraion of the heart, and a verdict was returned accordingly. Deceased resided at Karangqhakt and leaves a wife and six young children.
