Cable.) i The New'York Times' correspondent states that former service men, testifying before "the committee hearong Senator Watson's charges of illegal executions of soldiers in France, swore tli'at they had seen'nu-' onerous soldiers hanged without trial. Officers shot down men during petty quarrels, or sent them without gas masks into battle. , One soldier testified that he saw twelve executions in one camp and could produce 28 comrades to corroborate his evidence.
