LEAGUE GAME.
AUCKLAND V. WELLINGTON. (Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 20. Auckland and Wellington played a League game on. Saturday, and .the former won, after an exciting finish, by 23 to 21. . Actually their last try was a most palpable throw forward, which tho referee never saw. Still, they were* a distinctly better team, and would have had bad luck to lose. " One'of the features of the game was the splendid goal kicking, very few shots failing.
