T)UBLIC NOTICE is hereby given Jtj that the Hauraki Drainage Board proposes to raise under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," a Special Loan, of for the following objects: ] FOR Widening, Deepening, Erecting Flood-gates and Improving present water-courses and drains, and constructing new watercourses and drains and contingencies and engineering charges in connection therewith £ 5000, IT is further proposed that the security offered to coyer interest and sinking fund is a Special graduated rate of 12/I6th. of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all lands in Class '•A," 11/16 th. of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all lands in Class "B," and 10/I6th. of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all lands in Class "C" over the Hauraki Drainage District, &uch rates to be for a period of 36^ yeais or until the loan is fully paid off. PURSUANT to Section 10 of The •■-' Local Bodies Loans A*cfc 1913 and Section 41 of the Local Elections and Polls Act 1908 Notice is horeby given that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the County of Thameswill be taken on .the proposal of the Thames County Council to borrow the sum of £5000 for tho following purpwes, viz.: Purchase of a Road Roller and Grader £1500), Motor Loriry (£1000), Automatic Drill (£150), Appliances and Machinery (£200), the Construction of a- Tramway at the Kauaeranga Quarry '(£1750), and the Erection of a Metal Hopper near the Booms in the Kauaerauga River (£400).
