A(b the annual championship meeting' under the auspices of the New Zealand 'Gam Club Association, in the New Zealand championship sparrow match (2il birds), the final resulted in a tie between B. Burg|ess and E, King-, both of Waihi, with 19' killr each. Blurge'ssi and King fired off, the latter winning on the fifth '>h'd, thus becoming champion of New 55ea land for 1912.
Two sweepstakes were fixed off during the afternoon, N*o. 1 being divided by Parkinson (Napier) and Woolvjn (Feilding), with nine each out of a possible 10. No. 2 was productive of excellent shooting, and 1 was won by T. Burke (Waihi) with the possible.
