' A meeting of the sub-committee of the Standing, Committee of the Colonial Institute, including Lady Talbot, Lady KnigEtley, and Mr* Jo/oe discussed the question of female emigration. All the Agents-General wera invited to supply information as to the methods of dealing with emigrants but only West (Australia complied.
