MAY QUEEN.
The prospects of this property may be said to be very promising, and the future developments will be watched with, considerable interest. The No. 6 level crosscut in being pushed ahead as rapidly as possible, and when the reef is intersected a splendid block should be available as at No. 5 level the reef yielded payable quartz right down, to the floor of the drive. It is probable that a winze will be sunk from No. 5 level on the lode, if this work can, be done. The only difficulty will be that of water as the. No. 6 crosscut haa not advanced sufficiently to drain the lode. There is no doubt that if this wor£ can be canned out payable dirt will coon, be available »nd crushing operations commenced.
