(Eeceived 10th, 1.50 aau.) LONDON, August 9. Some "London papers were printed partly im French in honour of the visit of the French squadrfln. Parisian newspaper are unanimous in acclaiming the naval demonstra?tion as a festival of peace. Several declare that France is anxious, to be on good terms with all nations. The Temps says the entente suffices for actual interests with Britain and France, and^any' attempt to prematurely extend the scope would be dangerous, but should interests extend on pai-allel lines the understanding would tend to develop naturally.
