Wahqajcot, July 6. The barque St. Kilda is ashore on the bar, through her tow line parting. She is in a bad position, but it is expected she will get off to-night. Wellington, July 6. The Postmaster at Collingwood reports that a barque is ashore at , Farewell Spit, but he it unable tol ascertain its name, The steamer Ohau! was approaching the lighthouse this morning, and the lightkeeper has been instructed to signal her to render assistance to the barque.
