An Unpleasant Experience

(Per Press Association.)

Auckland, April 21.

A lady and gentletnau, Mr and Miss Armiger, met with an unpleasant ex-, perience at Te Kopuru recently. They ■were going ashore from the barque Royal Tar, when Mr Anui^er, in turning to speak to a friend, missed his footing, and fell into the water. As he had hold of his sister's hand at the time, she also went over. Captain George McKeuzie promptly jumped everboard, and, calling for a rope, made it fast round each in turn, so that all three were drawn-on board, and suffered little, excepting a, wetting. Captain McKenzie had the misfortune to loose his waistcoat and sorm money.
