Sydney, April 21. The annual report of the Mutual Life Association shows that the new business for the year totalled £500,000, an increase of over £100,000 on the previous year. The new annual premiums represented £13,660, and the total funds of the Association amount to £1,088,000 as compared with £1,048,000 at the end of 1894. Sir H. Parkes' state is so precarious this evening that, .despite the doctors orders, he took farewell of several of his old colleagues and supporters.
