A Remarkable Storm.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney, April 13. One of the roost remarkable dwst storms on record passed over Broken Hill. For some hours it was impossible to see across the street?, aud it waa dark as nriduight within tha building*. During the continuance of the gale beautiful varying changes in colors of light filtering through the dust occurred, and so terrible was iheeffect of the storm that many women went into hys-teric.«. fc Similar storms and effects were experienced in several otner mian<i towns A number of houses were unroofed, and considerable damage was dune to property and crops.
