The Egmont Winter meeting took place today. The weather was cold, but the attendance was good. The following are the results :— Handicap Huedles,—Commotion 1, Hiamoe 2, Tattler 3. Time, 4mins2ssecs. Dividend, £3 2p. Hack Hubdles.—Flukem 1, Teta 2, Not 3. Time, 3mins 21 1 sth sees. Dividend, £3 3s. Handicap Tbial Steeplechase.— Shillelagh 1, Flintstone 2, Dangerous 3 Time, smin lOseos. Dividend, £3 12s. Egmoht Steeplechase.—Shillelagh 1. Dividend, £5 9s. Second Handicap Flat Race, 35sovs. —Daisy Clipper Bnd Cyrus ran a dead heat, Waipito being third. Nineteen started. Dividends, Daisy Clipper £7 ss, Cyrus £19 , Final Steeplechase.—-Wbalebone 1, Auckland 2. The Dunce 3. Time, 4min 48sec. Dividend, £1 16s.
