Residence Sites.
Mr McMenamin said that when he first came to the geldfield a miner's right entitled its possessor to a residence site, and also the power to mine on the goldfield.
Mr Cadman replied that this was the law at present, *

If a miner took out a 20s miner's right at the Thames for mining on Dative land would it apply throughout the Peninsula ?
Mr Cadman replied io the affirmative.
Mr Northcroft further explained that it could be used for any naiivo land in the Hauraki district.
