Football Jottings.

The Kauaeranga Boys' School defeated the Parawai School in a match played at Parawai yesterday afternoon by 8 to 3. W. Lsnge scored four tries for the victors, Warbrick converting two. Houghton, James, and Gubb secured tries for Parawai, the attempts at goal being failures. The proposal with reference to dividing the Thames into football districts was discussed at the Union meeting held on Tuesday evening, but it was decided to allow the matter to stand over until the senior cup contests are finished.

The Nelsons will probably have the services of Stephenson and Potter in their match with the Wanderers. Both of them are working at Waihi.

Several young women belonging to Wellington have been engaged for the team of female footballers which is being got together in Auckland, and they are to leave for thnt city on Saturday next.

In their match with Nelson II to be played in Parawai Gardens, on Saturday, the following will represent the Wanderer II:—W. Cullen (capt.), Wilson, Woods, Soanlon, Robinson (2), Wolff, Bain, Hilton, Mokura, Brown (2), Laird, Whelan, and Moko; emergencies :— A. Wolff, McCormick, and Tongariro.

The following will represent the Wanderew in their match with the Nelsons on Saturday next:—D. Stewart (capt.), H. Boyle, Otway, Brownlee, Brown, Anderi son, Watene, Murphy, Moore, McGregor, R, Stewart, McCollum (2), Oakley, and McConnell. Dickey's break will leave the Bank Corner at 3 o'clock.
