Baulfe, publisher of the Observer, was committed for trial yesterday on a charge of libelling Hugh Shortland, solicitor. The steeplechaser Takapau has been shiped to Sydney. Those who desire to spend an enjoyable evening should attend Miners' Union concert totmoriw night. Excellent p7o* gramme. Big house expected.
